Prof. Clayton Kraft

• 1990-1993: Studied medicine at the Heinrich Heine University in Düsseldorf, Germany.
• 1993-1996: Continued his medical studies at the Friedrich Wilhelm University of the Rhine in Bonn, Germany.
• 1996: Passed the state examination, obtained his medical license and defended his doctoral thesis with distinction “cum laude”.

• 1997-1998: Physician Assistant at the Trauma Clinic of the University Hospital Bonn.
• 1998-2003: Researcher at the Orthopedic Clinic of the University Hospital Bonn.
• 2003-2005: Senior physician at the Orthopedic Department of the University Hospital Bonn.
• 2005-2007: Deputy Director of the Orthopedic Clinic of the University Hospital Düsseldorf.
• Since 2007: Director of the Clinic for Orthopedic Surgery, Traumatology and Hand Surgery at Helios Krefeld.
• Since 2015: Head of the specialized group “Orthopedics” in the Helios clinic chain.

Author of 108 scientific publications, of which 54 have been published in reputable international journals.
Regularly participates in national and international conferences, seminars and workshops in the USA, France, Switzerland and Austria as a speaker and participant.

• Treatment of spinal diseases: Minimally invasive surgical interventions on the spine, correction of deformities and treatment of cervical and lumbar hernias.
• Joint endoprosthetics: Replacement of large joints without cutting muscles and ligaments, including hip, knee, ankle, shoulder and elbow joints.
• Hand and foot surgery: complex surgical interventions of the hand and foot, including correction of deformities and treatment of injuries.
• Sports orthopedics: Treatment of sports injuries, arthroscopy and ligament surgery.
  Purulent bone and joint traumatology Treatment of infectious lesions of the musculoskeletal system.
• Physiotherapy: development of individual rehabilitation programs for patients after surgical interventions.

Prof. Kraft actively implements innovative technologies in the treatment of the musculoskeletal system, providing patients with high-quality treatment and long-term results. His clinic performs more than 1,000 spinal surgeries and more than 400 knee and hip replacements annually.
