Dr. Wilhelm Hübner

• Born on February 13, 1956, in Vienna.
• Received medical education at the Medical University of Vienna from 1974 to 1980.
• Continued clinical training as a resident in the urology department of Allgemeine Poliklinik Wien under the guidance of renowned professors.
• In 1990, worked as an assistant professor at the urology clinic of the University of Munich.
• In 1991–1992, he was a visiting associate professor in the urology department at the University of California, San Francisco.
• In 1995, he received his Venia Docendi (Ph.D.) for his thesis on “Orthotopic bladder replacement in women.”

• From 1992 to 1997 — Associate Professor in the Urology Department of the Vienna Hospital (Lainz).
• Since 1998 — Head of the Urology Department at the Weinviertel Clinic, Korneuburg (Austria).
• His clinical practice includes the treatment of urinary incontinence, congenital and acquired bladder dysfunction, oncological urological surgery, and reconstructive urology.
• He also has a consulting practice at Privatklinik Confraternität, which has a urology department.

• Prof. Hübner is actively involved in international professional organizations; he is a member of the International Continence Society (ICS).
• He is the initiator and coordinator of scientific seminars on male urinary incontinence and participates in live surgeries at international conferences.
• Among his awards: recognition from the European Association of Urology (EAU) for his contribution to incontinence research.
• He is a member of several professional societies: AUA (American Urological Association), ÖGU (Austrian Urological Society), DGU, BUV, MKÖ.

• Treatment of male urinary incontinence: implantation of sphincter systems (AMS 800 and others), microsurgery of the ureters, urethral reconstruction.
• Surgical treatment of potency and erectile dysfunction: vascular and reconstructive interventions.
